A Hollywood moment.<\/p>\n<p>It reminded me, though, of how few celebrity encounters I&#8217;ve had since I&#8217;ve been visiting and living in LA during the past six years. This is not a place for accidental meetings &#8211; unlike, say, London, where everyone uses the Underground, and the compression of the city centre naturally forces different circles to overlap. Transport in LA is by car-pod from where you are to where you want to go. There&#8217;s nothing much between A and B except traffic. Everything&#8217;s purposeful, volitional. By design.
